Welcome to Good Road Recovery Center, a state-licensed substance use disorder treatment program owned and operated by the Three Affiliated Tribes, which includes The Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation. Our specialized program is exclusively available for members of the MHA (Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara) tribes.
Holistic Recovery Approach
At Good Road Recovery, we recognize that alcoholism and substance dependency are diseases that impact not only individuals but also their families and the dynamics of the entire Tribe. Our approach to recovery is holistic, addressing the physical, emotional, and intellectual aspects of our clients. We believe that reconnecting individuals with their tradition, culture, and the higher power of the Great Spirit can significantly contribute to relapse prevention. Our non-judgmental education, cultural teachings, and prevention activities involving families and relatives are integral parts of our treatment process.
Tailored Levels of Care
We offer various levels of care to meet the unique needs of our clients. Our services include residential and outpatient treatment, as well as intensive case management. Each treatment plan is individualized and can last anywhere from a few months to up to 18-24 months, depending on the client’s progress and requirements.
Peaceful Green Campus
Our center is located on a private and spacious green campus, providing a serene and tranquil environment for healing. The treatment facility is renovated and designed to offer comfort and support during the recovery journey. Clients can enjoy indoor and outdoor lounge areas, a movie theater, and large shared bathrooms. The campus also offers scenic views of nearby mountains and ample opportunities for peaceful walks.
At Good Road Recovery Center, we are committed to providing culturally sensitive and effective treatment for members of the Three Affiliated Tribes. Our goal is to empower individuals and their families to overcome substance use disorders and achieve lasting recovery. Through our holistic approach and the support of the community, we walk together on the good road to healing and wellness.
