Cornwall Community Hospital (CCH) serves as a vital pillar in healthcare, faithfully catering to a diverse community comprising 110,000 individuals. The community spans Cornwall, Dundas, and Glengarry, as well as the Mohawk Community of Akwesasne. CCH unwaveringly commits to comprehensive healthcare, meeting the diverse needs of the community through acute inpatient, outpatient, and community mental health services.
With a steadfast dedication to excellence, CCH operates with 165 beds, fostering a healing environment through a devoted team of over 1,200 employees and a network of 180 physicians. The hospital’s extensive range of care and services includes emergency, surgical, medical, and rehabilitation services, along with specialized programs addressing critical issues like mental health and addiction, including a state-of-the-art family birthing center.
A notable initiative by CCH is the long-term supportive recovery program, tailored for men aged 18 and above, spanning 4 to 6 months. To ensure program success, clients must be referred and maintain a minimum of 72 hours of sobriety before admission. This emphasis on prerequisites underscores the hospital’s commitment to promoting not only recovery but also overall health and well-being in the Cornwall community. Cornwall Community Hospital stands as a beacon of hope, striving to uplift and nurture the health and resilience of the individuals it serves.

I am thoroughly disappointed by the lack of compassion shown and treatment provided to my son who has approached this hospital numerous times for treatment for addiction, mental and physical health issues.
As a parent it is heartbreaking to see my son refused proper care.
