Introducing Personalized Treatment Plans: In-Person and Online Options for Your Recovery Journey

Established in 1998 as Canada’s pioneering private center for eating disorder treatment, Westwind has thrived over the years, providing a haven for individuals seeking healing. Embracing growth and progress, Westwind offers a comprehensive program tailored to the needs of women aged 19 and above from all corners of the globe. At Westwind, we believe in delivering a truly personalized treatment experience within a comforting environment.

Our approach begins with individual counseling, empowering clients to address their unique challenges, fears, and goals. To cultivate long-term recovery, clients benefit from one-on-one sessions with a registered dietitian who helps develop personalized nutritional objectives and imparts invaluable knowledge about nutrition. Furthermore, our clients engage in a variety of enriching group sessions held thrice daily. These sessions cover diverse topics such as nutrition education, mindfulness, meditation, yoga, goal setting, restaurant outings, art therapy, body image and exercise, and an array of other transformative activities.

In line with our commitment to accessibility and flexibility, we have also introduced Westwind Counseling’s online recovery program called R.I.S.E. This innovative program is designed for clients aged 17 and above of all genders. Through R.I.S.E, individuals can participate in tele-health services from the comfort of their own homes. The online program offers daily meal support, three weekly group sessions, as well as a weekly one-on-one session with a dedicated dietitian and counselor.

To ensure an intimate and personalized experience, Westwind Counseling accommodates a maximum of six clients at a time. Each client is provided with their own bedroom in our Kelowna residence, where Wi-Fi is available throughout. We recognize the importance of staying connected during the recovery process, and clients are encouraged to bring their laptops and personal cell phones. Moreover, our Kelowna facility boasts a spacious outdoor patio and an inviting pool, allowing clients to relax and enjoy their surroundings.
