Welcome to the Jellinek Society, a non-profit, men’s only residence in Edmonton, Canada, offering invaluable support through peer interactions, counseling, and 12-Step meetings. Our primary focus is to assist individuals in the early stages of their recovery journey, bridging the gap between inpatient treatment and independent living. To be eligible for our program, candidates must be at least 18 years old, have completed a minimum of 30 days of inpatient treatment, actively participate in a 12-step fellowship (AA, NA, or CA), and either be employed or seeking employment or educational training.
Our abstinence-based environment is designed to provide a supportive and nurturing atmosphere, encouraging camaraderie and personal growth. For men transitioning back into work, pursuing education, or reconnecting with family life, Jellinek Society offers the necessary support through on-site 12-Step meetings, individual counseling, and family therapy.
To ensure comfort and well-being during their stay, our residence features 17 well-appointed beds, offering both private and semi-private rooms. The living spaces are thoughtfully designed with a pristine, modern kitchen and cozy living room areas, fostering a sense of home and belonging for our residents. In lieu of rent, the program cost is $850 per month, making it an accessible option for those seeking a supportive and empowering recovery environment.
